Inside Our Greenhouse
Our produce is grown hydroponically. What does this mean? We grow our plants in a water/nutrient solution rather than soil. This soil-less/controlled-environment agriculture gives plants ideal conditions for growth, giving you, the consumer, the highest quality produce available.
When you purchase Canopy Gardens produce, you'll get a vine-ripened, hand-picked product that has not been genetically altered or sprayed with harmful pesticides or herbicides. Our produce features firm texture and is naturally rich in flavor and vitamins. And, all of our produce is locally grown, which means it gets from our plants to your table ultra-fast, giving you the freshest produce possible.
Our family works tirelessly to provide you with the highest quality produce. We work weekends and even on some holidays to keep all of the wheels turning. Our motivation? You! Your satisfaction with our produce drives us to work hard. We're also proud to say that we heat our operations with a renewable resource: wood chips purchased from a local saw mill.
“It's difficult to think anything but pleasant thoughts while eating a homegrown tomato.”
Who We Are
What started as an 11,000-square-foot dream has transformed into a "blooming" business.
We're livin' the dream!
Since the greenhouse began in 1995, we have been through many changes, including two major expansions. We now cover slightly less than 1 acre and can house more than 7,000 plants! We're excited to share the love of growing with our children as we become a second-generation business!
WE MAKE SALSA,
How bold are you?
